How can I give attribution to the assets I am using?

If you’re using free assets from IconScout, it’s important to credit the contributor for their work.

Where to find the attribution

When you download a free icon, a pop-up will appear with the required credit text. For example, on this page: https://iconscout.com/icon/avoid-handshake-2221268

The attribution may look like this: Avoid Handshake Icon by Graphic Mall

Simply copy this text and include it wherever you use the asset.

Where to place the attribution

Depending on how you’re using the asset, place the credit in one of the following ways:

Websites – On the page where the icon is used, or in the footer.

Printed products – On the final printed item.

Apps or games – On the credits or description screen.

Social media – In the caption or description of the post.
